It has been a few months since I last posted. I have been putting my energy into other writing projects, holidays, and editing the layout of this blog. I have also been allowing the drab, low-light days of winter to drag me down from time-to-time, feeling adrift in the sea of social isolation and underemployment.
So I am here today to announce some writing goals I have for the new year. I have been working on these goals the last few months and I am hopeful that they will provide some positive activity for my brain and some uplifting content for those of you who enjoy reading my blog.
My goals are to post three times a month for the year of 2021. Each month I will post one entry of reflections, one entry with homesteading project updates, and one entry about the people and places that inspire me. My reflections will be similar to most of what I posted in 2020: opinion pieces about current events and social issues, including insights from my inner journey of emotional growth. The homesteading updates will include lots of photos and descriptions of my animals, crafts, and cooking projects. The people and places posts will introduce you to the farms, businesses, and individuals that give energy to my community and fill me with hope and happiness.
If you are on board to join me for this journey, I encourage you to subscribe to my blog so you can get email updates of new posts.
My goal is to share as much joy as I can gather, while taking an honest look at the experiences and events that shape who we are and how we see the world, individually and collectively.
Hoping your 2021 is filled with blue skies and sunshine, and the strength to live through the grey days knowing they won’t last forever.
